Sam Kain , ALC, Honored As 2009 Land REALTOR® of America
November 23, 2009 (Chicago) – Sam Kain has been named the 2009 Land REALTOR® of America by the REALTORS® Land Institute, a national membership organization serving the leading professionals in land.
Kain has been an area sales manager with Farmers National Company of West Des Moines , Iowa , since 1990 and is licensed in Iowa , Minnesota , Missouri , South Dakota , and North Dakota . Highly respected on both the local and national levels, Kain holds the prestigious Accredited Land Consultant (ALC) designation, conferred to only those land professionals who achieve the highest levels of education and experience.
The Land REALTOR® of America distinction is extended annually to a land professional who has demonstrated exceptional professionalism in real estate, an outstanding commitment to the REALTORS Land ® Institute (RLI) organization, and distinguished track record of community service.
The award was presented to Kain at the REALTORS® Land Institute's Annual Convention, which was held in San Diego in conjunction with the National Association of REALTORS® Annual Conference & Expo.
Keith Morris , ALC and 2009 National President of RLI, presented the award to Kain. During his remarks, Morris said, “Sam is highly regarded among brokers and the general public for his principles and his commitment to the REALTOR® Code of Ethics. In his daily work recruiting and training the sales staff for his company and monitoring and managing the real estate activity of 45 agents, he consistently emphasizes the importance of high ethical standards.”

Receives National Award
G. Edmond "Ned" Massie, IV from Grant Massie Land Company in Richmond, Virginia was awarded the 2009 Robert C. Meeks, ALC, Distinguished Service Award by the National REALTORS ® Land Institute (RLI) in San Diego, CA, on November 12, 2009. Awarded annually since 1999, it is "presented to an ALC in recognition of long-term commitment and service to fellow-Institute members, the land profession and the community." The Virginia Chapter of RLI wishes to congratulate Ned for this prestigious award and thank him for his continued dedication to this state chapter.
